Summer is drawing to a close, and I hope everyone has had a great vacation, and enjoyed the warm weather. Here at CEOExpress, we're excited for the coming fall. We have many changes and phenomenal new features to share with you.
Our beta test continues to go exceedingly well, and we are nearly ready to launch the new site for everyone. Wow, have you given us great feedback. We couldn't have created what we have without you. There is a beta site update below (including an exciting new feature that no one will want to miss!), but for those of you who are sick of hearing about the beta, we have some additional news.
Coming Features:
In addition to the many features and capabilities that will be available when we launch the new site, these are some of the changes on the horizon.
New Calendar: We know - we're not happy with our current calendar either. Well, a new one is on its way. We are delighted to announce that Everyone.net, our email service provider, will be launching a new integrated calendar this fall. We will share more details with you as they become available.
Expert Blogs: This one is a little further off, but I am recruiting business experts, with various areas of expertise, to write an ongoing expert blog for CEOExpress. If you are an expert in a particular area, an excellent writer, and would like to be on our blog panel, just send me a note and tell me a bit about you and your expertise.
Financial Quote Page: This one is already here! In case you missed it, there is a new feature in your Finance Center box. Just click the "Quote Page" link to the right of the Finance Center title, to open a layer displaying all the stocks from your stock ticker in one view. The display includes a "News" link for each of your stocks. Add symbols to your stock ticker, and they will automatically be added to your Quote Page.
Beta Test Update:
We're almost ready to go. We'll be launching the new site soon, and if you haven't already tested it (What are you waiting for? Start now!), you're going to be blown away by all the great new features. However, don't worry -even those of you who hate change will be able to hit the ground running, and continue using the page right away. Read on...
Fantastic New Feature!
Attention all people who hate change or those who just like CEOExpress "just the way it is"! We DO LISTEN to you. :-)
Long Scrolling Tab: We have just launched an option on the new site to create a long scrolling version of the page under one of your tabs-it will essentially allow you to mimic the prior CEOExpress site, but have all the new features of the new site. Who said you couldn’t have your cake and eat it too? It is quick and easy to set up, and will allow you to view all your content at once, without clicking on multiple tabs to do so. To get started, Watch Patricia's Demo. (Make sure your sound is on.) Click here for more information.
There are more surprises in store - even for those of you who are already beta testing - including this:
Non-JavaScript Version: There is a growing trend of companies disabling JavaScript on work computers. When we launch the new site, we will offer a fully functioning non-JavaScript version. You can even toggle back and forth between that and the JavaScript version without losing any customization. (Don't worry; we'll have a demo if you don't understand what we are talking about)
BTW, I'm a star! If you haven't already, please look at "Two Minutes with Patricia - Quick Demos on CEOExpress Features." I've personally created several quick demos, explaining features, and offering tips on how to best use them. I even talk about our number one most frequently asked question: How do I change my opening tab? Take a few minutes and review the demos.
Please continue to send your Feedback (and be sure to take a look at our FAQs before submitting your question).
One more time: If you haven't switched to the beta site yet, Sign Up for Beta Now!
Lastly, I have to mention the remarkable work my staff, namely Toby McGuire and Amy Judd, have done on the new site. They always focus on your needs and I cannot tell you the detail they agonize over. They have done a remarkable job and want your continued feedback and ideas.
As always, feel free to send me a note. I truly enjoy hearing from you.
Best regards,
