September 10th, 2007 Fall has arrived and it is time to tell you about the new and exciting features we've been working on over the summer. We have several great new features to tell you about, and even more coming soon. In this newsletter we are announcing the addition of: Google Gadgets for CEOExpress "CEOX for Dummies" and Enhanced Page Security Google Gadgets (or...Have Your Google and CEOExpress Too!) "Google Gadgets and More" will now allow you to add "gadgets" (also known as "nuggets" and "widgets") from other sites, such as Google, to your CEOExpress homepage. This includes games, stock market indices, sports scores, email, weather and a long list of other gadgets. Your page add-ons are no longer limited to tools and features that CEOExpress has developed. Adding Google Gadgets is just as easy as adding other CEOExpress features. Just click "Add Content" on the left side of the page, above your tabs menu, and choose "Google Gadgets". Select a category to see a list of available Gadgets. Click "Info" next to any Gadget name for more information about that Gadget. Click the name to add the Gadget to the tab that is currently open. (Note: Gadgets can be removed at any time by clicking the X in the upper right hand corner of any gadget.) Lastly, please let us know if there are any other "gadgets," "widgets" or "nuggets" online that you want to have added to CEOExpress. "CEOExpress for Dummies" (or...The Top Ten Features of CEOExpress...Explained) At the request of members, we've started working on a whole new Help manual for CEOExpress, using a far more user friendly and informative interface. The first installment is our "Top 10 Features." Please check out the new Top 10 CEOExpress Features help manual now. We'll be releasing more help information as it is developed. (You can access this and other help documents at any time by clicking the "Help" link in the upper right hand corner of your homepage.) Help us make this the most useful tool possible. Please let us know what your most important "How do I...?" questions are. Enhanced Page Security To increase the security of your CEOExpressSelect account, you can now enable "enhanced password protection." Enabling enhanced password protection will make it so your CEOExpress password must be re-entered to access certain areas of CEOExpress. Areas that will be protected through this feature: Your CEOX Email, your "Edit Personal Information" page, and your Google GMail widget (if applicable). To enable Enhanced password protection, click the "My Account" link in the upper right hand corner of the CEOExpress homepage, and look under "Page Security" in the right column. You will be required to provide your CEOExpress password to enable and disable password protection. Watch Patricia's Quick Demo to see how to add "Enhanced Security" to your CEOExpress page. (Please be sure that your sound is turned on.) Why Use Enhanced Security? In case you forget to log out of your CEOExpressSelect account on a public or shared computer, this will protect your most sensitive information. (Also, remember that you can always use Remote Sign Out any time you think you may have forgotten to log out of your computer.) Coming This Fall There are a lot of great new features coming this fall, including public page publishing of your personal links/gadget library, the ability to export your personal links, and blogs.
