That poll question is unfair. After eight years of Barack Obama America's leadership all over the world has nowhere to go but up.

Why do you continue to play Tee Ball with Robb Myers & Company?

How about some non-partisan poll questions that aren't teed up for the Trump haters?

It quickly digresses into a nonsensical complaint board of the same tired, and now expired rants. Sen Feinstein put a fork in it yesterday to the dismay of Jakie Tapper.

Nobody is stopping the fans of the Velveeta Raccoon from extolling his achievements except he hasn't had any so just post made up, fake news achievements, or don't.

True enough Robert but the Velveeta man hasn't done anything to improve the situation so it looks like we'll be in the doldrums for a while longer.

Pretty much anything these days becomes partisan quickly, so I don't know that it matters what is the subject or who's commenting.

One thing about President Trump's 'America First' agenda that intrigues me is the bilateral rather than multi-lateral agreements he prefers. When two parties are involved, it's easy to monitor compliance and either heap on the praise or fix problems. When several parties are involved, it's easy for them to play the shell game.

When I was teaching at university, and it was research project time, I put students in groups of two. If I had an odd number of students in a class, I would pick out the weakest student to be the third in my strongest two-person group. I learned quickly that weak, lazy, and duplicitous students hide in large groups. I suspect the same is true with nations and businesses.

I don't think the U.S. can afford to ignore the Asian trading partners, but, as we have heard before, they 'bear watching.'

So, let's see what comes of the president's Asian excursion.

For you perhaps. I'm seeing some real possibility... but we are both premature. We have to wait to see how the world reacts after we blow up NK. Of course, it is possible we will not blow them up - but only if they are willing to become a peaceful nation. Dead is peaceful - so either way we succeed.

Based on the fact that trump has been unable to "make a deal" with the Repubs, it is hard to believe he will be successful in Asia, but...we can always hope.

Clearly increasing. The Asians (less China and NK and Soviets) are counting on US leadership particularly with a new President who is more than Obamaesque nothingness.
