Interesting perspective from Reuters...

Their poll shows a small majority of Americans in favor of the pending tax bill (51-49)...

... the headline might read...

Majority of Americans favor tax plan.

instead it reads...

Nearly half of Americans oppose tax plan.

the truth is...

Americans split on tax plan.

Is it a mystery why people have such a low regard for the media?

And, many of the comments regarding Oregon are simply wrong.

Unfunded pensions are a nightmare looming in Oregon. And, public education is a joke.

Mr. Robb rarely uses accurate cites. Only when pushed.

I don't post as fact; I post as my opinion based upon my experience (professionally and personal), analysis, education and so forth.

I love how everyone uses fake news. Most of the time it is simply very biased news. However, once in a while, CNN, NYT, MSNBC and or WaPo step in with an outright lie/mistake - maybe that is fake news.

My opinions are my opinions. However, many here don't believe your and Mr. Robb's opinions are your own; but, rather propaganda handed to you. But, that is just my educated opinion.

No it's not.....it's just a fun thing to do.

These "ranked" things are very subjective.

For example "Best Run States"......they left out Education outcome which is one of the primary functions state and local government, changes the whole picture doesn't it?

Silly games....

Perhaps, but I was educated by the Jesuits, who taught me to think.

They never asked "what color was the barn painted?'

But rather, "why was the barn painted red?"

big difference

Thomas C-

"B). I don't "post" citations to my opinions because I have actually one, rarely do I use someone else's opinion"

Trump does the same thing only he is president of the US, his delusional opinions like recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel suddenly become policy.

Perhaps as others mentioned in the past there should be a "comment button".

"Posting citations has value is attempting to prove a fact."

M Bathurst-
Why is it that your group is constantly harping on D.Robb about plagiarism when he uses citations if you and your group can post opinions but pretend they have the force of believable fact?

Your 'opinions' are just fake news.

Sorry, Thomas, I never was able to pass a college course by saying this is my opinion. Professors wanted some factual basis for the answers. I realize that you don't want to challenge your beliefs by having to rely on facts. Better to stick to trump's fake news.

So, your anecdotal experience is supposed to be the "truth"? After reading your posts I know you believe what you want to believe regardless of the truth.
