This tax proposal is yet another money grab for the wealthy perpetrated by Republicans with no shame whatever. It's a tossing of scraps and then a huge middle finger to the folks who voted for Trump believing they were going to be helped and that the deficit was a huge problem. Instead, many at the low end will pay more, Paul Ryan says most folks will get the astounding sum of $1100 ($90 mo.; $45 per pay period), while the top 2% of earners will benefit on the average of about $46,000. With it, not only will the massive debt NOT be dealt with, but the plan adds to the debt. It does so almost entirely on the backs of poor and middle class families. It's shameful, but Republicans have no shame.

Republicans tried this trickle down business in the 80s. It produced three years of upside and six long years of recession. Bill Clinton and Newt Gingrich worked out a compromise in the late 90s to fix the damage done by Reaganomics. Then comes GWB who does it again, but on steroids and what happened in 2007-8 took ten years to correct. And they're perfectly willing to compromise the health insurance of the most vulnerable to do it. The is VILE.
