“Perhaps the most intuitive reason we know these cuts will fail to spark wage growth is that corporate profit rates have been historically high since 2007, while business investment has been historically low,” Josh Bivens, an economist at the liberal Economic Policy Institute, wrote this week.
A prominent survey of top economists from across the ideological spectrum — the IGM Economic Experts Panel — found this week that almost no economists agreed with the notion that the size of the American economy “will be substantially higher a decade from now than under the status quo” if the tax bill passed.

You are a sad, pathetic man. And I feel sorry for you.

It's Thanksgiving for crying out loud.

Don't you have family or friends that still talk to you?

Turn the computer off, take a break.

Thomas, I am not the one with nothing to say so you attack other posters. Measure twice, cut once. If you have nothing to add, don't

So then, why do you persist?

James, I come to the forums with IDEAS. My purpose is to present what them and stimulate discussion. What is your purpose? Do you have any IDEAS?
For example, how is Special Counsel Mueller's investigation going? The Repubs investigated and investigated and investigated Secretary Clinton and came up with nothing. Then they blamed the Director of the FBI for not finding anything either. What has happened so far with the investigations of trump?
President little hands lawyers keep telling him to be patient because the Mueller probe is coming to an end, but nobody else shares that assessment.
So far there have been two incictments: Paul Manafort, Trump’s former campaign chairman, has been indicted on charges relating to money laundering and acting as an registered foreign agent; his associate Rick Gates was indicated on similar charges.
A former Trump campaign advisor, George Papadopoulos, is cooperating with investigators as part of a plea deal over charges of misleading the FBI. Since former NSA Flynn’s lawyers have stopped cooperating with trump’s lawyers, speculation is that he, too, is cooperating with investigators.
At least nine people in the bone spur guy’s campaign had contact with— a list that includes the president’s eldest son, dim donald Jr., and his son-in-law, Jared Kushner. A letter from the Senate Intelligence Committee to Kushner’s attorney suggested that trump’s son-in-law appeared to have “overlooked several documents” that he should have provided as part of the congressional probe. He failed to list on security clearance forms the names of more than 100 foreign officials he has met.
Most expect that the investigation will continue through the mid-term elections, and will result in several convictions. What do you think?

There are some pathetic examples on this forum. I agree with you there. They defend serial self-confessed sexual criminals and pedophiles. You can't get much lower than that.

Are you referring to the now room temp Duke of Chappaquiddick, the swimmer Ted Kennedy? Maybe the disgraced supporter of the common man, John Edwards? Or just a garden variety pervert by the name of Anthony Weiner aka Carlos Danger? We don’t need to bring slick willie into this.

You are by appearances friendless and bereft of family. It is sad for a senior citizen to be in such strait. Perhaps family services can help since you’ve certainly forsaken your church. Good luck.

No James, you know exactly who I am referring to. Most people with nothing to say and a lot to defend are smart enough to say nothing. Obviously, you are not as smart as the average.
How do you think Mueller's investigation is going? The little hands guy's lawyers keep telling him that it will be over soon, but not many people believe that. What do you think?
Do you think that Flynn will be a good witness for the prosecution? I do.

Take your own advice. I am not the angry, frustrated loser attacking other posters because I have nothing intelligent to offer.

Back to the subject of the forum which appears to be way over your head.

Tax Bill Loopholes May Benefit Wall Street's Wealthiest
Lawmakers.

Investors in billion-dollar hedge funds might be able to take advantage of a new, lower tax rate touted as a break for small businesses. Private equity fund managers might be able to sidestep a new tax on their earnings. And a combination of proposed changes might allow the children and grandchildren of the very wealthy to avoid income taxes in perpetuity.

These are some of the quirks that tax experts have spotted in the bill passed by the House on Nov. 16

I do. I have great friends, wonderful family, and something other than being a one-legged man in an a$$ kicking contest which you seem to fancy yourself. Carry on and let us know how your stop at Creedmore works out. I suspect you'll stop by after your daily trek to the northern NY Soros safehouse.

No, you don't. I am able to post on the subject of the forum and issues related to it. You have not had a single pertinent, intelligent, useful post since you came to the forum today. Looks like you are the one with the problem.
Do you think the trump tax plan will help you?

A majority of Senate Republicans are expected to back the flawed GOP tax plan, despite its blowing a $2 trillion hole in the defict. However, at least six have stopped short of saying they will vote for the tax cut package.

That is why the serial, self-confessed, sexual criminal is holding his nose (how low can you go?) and wooing the pedophile from Alabama.

I hope the GOP is unable to force this odious, deceitful, blatantly thieving excuse for a tax cut down our collective throats. They're such liars they should be hung, drawn and quartered, tarred, feathered and ridden out of town on a rail. As for the rest of the "let them eat cake crowd", IMO, they should suffer the same fate as the original "let them eat cake crowd".

It does appear that buyer's remorse has set in, Rick. They are getting tired trying to defend the bone spur guy's failures. Having to stand up for the pedophile judge has got to be hard - even for these racist, misogynist, haters.
I share your hopes that the Senate will reject this latest attempt to enrich the richest Americans further by stealing from the middle class.
