This plan is at least a start toward some rational tax policy. It isnt perfect. It beats whatever the Democrats have proposed. Of course, it isn't hard to jump over a low bar.

It's disheartening to see the same people posting the same variation on a theme regarding this poll as they would regarding any other. And it's disheartening to see the same person monopolizing these posts. A self designated arbiter of the insane.

It is easy to offer meaningless generalities instead of critical analysis. Perhaps you could explain why, with the economy doing extremely well, and the rich doing extremely well accumulating more and more of the nation's wealth, we need this tax plan?

Perhaps you could explain to me why the wage earners shouldn't be able to keep more of their own money? Perhaps you could explain to me why the US should have almost the highest corporate tax rate in the world thereby making us less competitive with foreign flags who host those corporations?

I am all for a middle class tax cut. If you made any attempt to understand my position you're d know that. It is a myth that US corporations are the most heavily taxed. Very few pay the highest rate. You have drunk the Koolade which is why you are unable to defend this deficit busting bill that benefits the rich, and will result in many of us paying higher taxes.

Wage earners get an extra $600 - $800 on $60K and corporations get 15% tax cut on BILLIONS yet at any time the dream of new investment, GDP gains and new jobs FAILS it will be American Citizens social 'entitlements' that take the cut, not the removal of corporate tax cuts.

" It isnt perfect. It beats whatever the Democrats have proposed."

Ray, Trump kept the Democrats out of the process entirely and kept the Republicans from having a 'finalized' bill even now. Based entirely upon the supposition that the economy will grow to justify the debt of ten years of tax cuts, permanent tax cuts to the corporations and the very rich, how do you prove a negative, just let it happen and "WAIT AND SEE"?

"This plan is at least a start toward some rational tax policy."

Not doing anything to add to the tax policies would be a good start toward some rational tax policy. Cutting corporate taxa almost in half PERMANENTLY on the dream of increasing the GDP is insane tax policy.
