Obama stood at 44% after his first year. He dropped to 40% in the fall.

Trump currently stands at 40%.

You can play with the words to make this into either a yes or a no... the fact is - they are pretty much in the same neighborhood.

Robert, the numbers are clear, and they clearly show you are wrong. From my previously cited article: "The cleanest comparison between the approval ratings of the two presidents is Gallup's daily tracking polls, which are released as both three-day rolling averages and weekly averages. The three-day averages released on December 28, 2009 -- the day Trump cited in his tweet -- showed 51% approval for Obama with 43% disapproval. On December 28 of this year, Gallup released a three-day average showing 38% approval for Trump with 56% disapproval."

Great word pile... but numbers are numbers and D. Robb is D. Robb.

Right Robert, and the numbers tell the tale. The bone spur guy has had approvals below 50% since the start of his presidency and has sunk to less than 40%. No way does that even come close to President Obama's approvals which grew and grew. President Obama left office with 2/3's of the nation approving of his job performance. Only in your alternative facts universe can trump be said to be 'equal' to President Obama.

Yes they do. I refer anyone interested to the numbers themselves.

Nice try, Trump is 12 points behind Obama at the same point.
