 CNNCNN's Jake Tapper was met with an impersonation of an Irish woman when he brought on a former lawyer for Donald Trump to discuss the process of selecting jurors in front of a judge.
William Brennan, an attorney who represented Trump during the 2022 Trump Organization trial, spoke to Tapper on Monday about his experience evaluating potential jurors in the case. That experience apparently included an introduction to a 40-something Irish woman who had strong opinions about the twice-impeached former president.
"She spoke with a brogue, she worked in an Irish Pub," Brennan said. He said he asked her whether feelings toward Trump were positive or negative. "‘Oh, I despise that man,'" Brennan said through an impersonation of the woman.

The institute, which focuses on foreign policy and defense, announced that Haley would become its Walter P. Stern chair on Monday in a release. Haley posted her statement to X as well.

 CNNSen. John Fetterman (D-PA) pushed back on Sunday against President Joe Biden's reported warning to Benjamin Netanyahu that the U.S. would not join in an attack against Iran, repeating his monthslong refrain that the U.S. should unconditionally support Israel.
"It's astonishing that we are not standing firmly with Israel," Fetterman told CNN's Jake Tapper on State of the Union. "There should never be any time for conditions—all of that when a nation can launch hundreds of drones towards Israel—and I'm not going to be talking about conditions ever."
Tapper asked Fetterman whether he agreed with Biden's decision to tell Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu to "take the win" for intercepting Iran's missiles and drones, and his discouragement of an Israeli response, as reported by Axios and others. Fetterman said that, while he still supported the president, he disagreed with Biden and urged him to maintain full-throated support for Israel.

The Israeli military says it intercepted the "vast majority" of drones and missiles launched by Iran in a direct attack on Israel late Saturday.
Israel Defense Forces spokesperson Daniel Hagari told CNN the assault included "200 different kinds" of drones, as well as ballistic and cruise missiles. A 10-year-old child in the southern Negev region was among the first reported casualties of the attack, reportedly injured by flying shrapnel from an interceptor missile.
