How do I import my bookmarks to CEOExpress?
To import your bookmarks, just click the "Import" link next to the personal links section header on your CEOExpressSelect desktop. First, you’ll need to export your bookmarks. (See "How do I export my bookmarks?" below.) Next, browse for your bookmarks file, and click "Continue." You’ll be asked to choose which links you’d like to import. (See "What if I don’t want to import all of my bookmarks?" below.) Click "Import Links." Your links will be imported. (Depending on the number of links, this may take a while.)

Where will I find my bookmarks on CEOExpress?
Your bookmarks will be added to your personal links. If your bookmarks are divided into folders, those folders will appear as categories in your personal links section. (See "My bookmarks are organized into folders. Can I keep that structure?" below.) If you import your bookmarks without folders, all links will appear in one category called "Unfiled Import." All of these categories can be moved within the section, edited, shared, etc. Just click "Add/Manage/Share Categories" next to the Personal Links section header on your CEOExpressSelect desktop.

What if I don’t want to import all of my bookmarks?
Before your bookmarks are imported, they will be presented to you as a list. To import all of your links, simply scroll to the bottom and click "Import Links." To exclude some links, use the list below. Categories/folders with a green check mark will be imported. (All links will be imported by default.) Remove the check to exclude the category. To exclude individual links within a category, open the category using the +/- and uncheck unwanted links. When your list is complete, scroll to the bottom and click "Import Links."

My bookmarks are organized into folders. Can I keep that structure?
After you have selected the links you want to import, scroll to the bottom of the page. Above the "Import Links" button you will see several options. One is "Create new folders reflecting your bookmark organization." This option is turned on by default. When your bookmarks are imported, they will appear in your personal links section, divided into categories based on your folder structure. If you do not wish to import your links in their folders, uncheck the box next to this option before importing. All of your bookmark links will appear in a new folder called "Unfiled Import."

Some of my bookmarks folders have the same names as my personal links categories. What will happen when I import them?
If, for instance, you have a bookmark folder called "Technology," and a CEOExpress personal links category called "Technology," the bookmark links in the Technology folder will be added to your existing Technology category when imported. (All links can be moved to other categories after importing. Click the next to a category name to edit that category.)

What does "Shorten link names" mean?
Some of the links in your bookmarks may have long names. When you import your bookmarks to CEOExpress, the links will appear in your personal links section. Too many links with long names may make your personal links section hard to navigate. After you have selected the links you want to import, scroll to the bottom of the page. Above the "Import Links" button you will see several options. One is "Shorten Link Names." Click the check box to turn this feature on. All link names will be shortened. (Once bookmarks are imported, you can edit link names by clicking the next to the category name.)
