Do you think that the Trump Tax plan will help the middle class?

I have no idea

Unless the House passes the Senate's version, it has to go to conference, which could be problematic, in itself. And if it makes it out of conference, it has to go back to both chambers for majority vote. The House gets off easy be voting things, like repeal, through knowing it'll get hung up in the Senate. But if it actually comes to a vote on whatever the Conference produces, that will be very interesting, indeed.

You are right, Rick. They are only interested in getting reelected. Therefore, they need party support to avoid being challenged in a primary.
If that means supporting a self-admitted sexual predator and the election of a pedophile, hold your nose and do it. Who needs to ever look in a mirror?

Republican congress is soooo full of sh!t. I'm watching this representative from Virginia Dave Brat brag about the crumbs the tax cut sprinkles for the middle class while taxing PhD students, throwing millions off health care and giving millions to people like Trump. Such hypocrites.

Meanwhile, they're set to elect a child molester to the senate. Moral values indeed!

They're only interested in maintaining and increasing their privilege. All other arguments are, IMO, just so much hot air.

Interesting as in war with NK, a crashed economy, a third world infrastructure coupled with exploding debt, widening of the wealth gap, poor uneducated unhealthy people as far as the eye can see and a uber-wealthy class that owes its allegiance only to themselves?

Define interesting?

Nobody close to trump describes him as being in control and knowing what he is doing. He is described as becoming increasingly divorced from reality and becoming more and more emboldened to do and say whatever his inner voices tell him. Tillerson has never denied calling him a moron.

Exactly. It is a huge gift box for the rich, and that are adding whatever is needed to get votes.

The choice last year was very straightforward.

Moral outrage v. Dishonest corruption.

As we all know the former prevailed. Folks on the later side proceeded to light their hair on fire, point fingers, go hysterical, and begin a process of despicable labeling of opponents. As if it was something out of a sci-fi or zombie movie.

Liar, bigot, racist, Nazi, misogynist, mental case, and dozens of other terms of endearment targeted towards the Sexual Predator in Chief, and his followers.

And then a very curious dynamic developed...the moral reality began to peel away like an onion, and each layer has become uglier than the last.

Outspoken Liberal icons from Weinstein to Lauer, and an entire bus load in between, CK, Spacey, Franken, Halperin, Conyers, Keillor, Oreskes, Simpson. They even lament predators of the past, Bill Clinton, Teddy Kennedy. Turns out Trump is simply a little leaguer when it comes to the big leagues.

Are the Conservatives innocent? Certainly not.

But if it was a prize fight it's way past a TKO.

And the question is, was there cause and effect? Something to ponder by minds greater than mine.

What if? What if the dishonest corruption prevailed? Would the charade of hidden shame continue? Would the champion of women who stood by her man at the worst of times been different?

If nothing else it's irony. Like some kind of Shakespearean tragedy.

They all try an equivalence for each side, but with every new unmasking comes an even more lurid detail. Sex toys Matt? Come on man! Really?

And America can't help but watch.
