MSNBC Analyst: If Coast Guard Neo-Nazi Was Muslim, Trump's ‘Thumbs Would Be Sore' From All the Tweeting
Reacting to President Trump finally (and briefly) addressing the self-proclaimed white nationalist Coast Guard Lt. Christopher Hasson who was accused of plotting mass murder, MSNBC analyst Eugene Robinson asserted that we would have heard a lot more from the president if Hasson was Muslim or Hispanic.

Speaking to reporters from the White House Friday, the president said that he hadn't yet been briefed on the accused mass-murder plotter, who reportedly kept a "hit list" of left-leaning journalists and Democratic politicians. When asked for his thoughts, the president called it a "shame" and "very sad," adding that he does not bear any responsibility to monitor his own rhetoric because his "language is very nice."

Friday afternoon on MSNBC's Deadline White House, host Nicolle Wallace noted that some of the words Trump has used to attack Democrats and the media showed up in Hasson's Google searches.

NewsMax TV Host Thinks Jussie Smollett Got Off Easier Than Roseanne Barr

She was particularly upset with what she perceived as lenient treatment towards Smollett in comparison to Barr losing her job in May 2018.

"Why exactly—in your opinion—do you think Fox TV would let him back on set today?" Pags asked.

‘Fox & Friends' Airs Moment of Sanity on Jussie Smollett. Then Geraldo Chimes In.
In the wake of the shocking allegation that Empire star Jussie Smollett staged his own attack over a salary dispute, Fox News aired commentary that was surprisingly nuanced and appropriate.

At least, for a little while.

In a panel moderated by Fox & Friends' Ainsley Earhardt, Chicago pastor Corey Brooks, former congressional press secretary Rochelle Ritchie, and Democratic strategist Richard Fowler expanded on why Smollett's alleged lies shouldn't distract from the reality of racist and homophobic violence in America.
