The Border Patrol agents involved in the fatal shooting of nurse Alex Pretti have been placed on administrative leave, according to the Department of Homeland Security.
The development comes a day after DHS provided the first official timeline of the deadly encounter, stating that two federal officers had fired at Pretti.
