Israel said it will continue to strike Lebanon for the time being and won't be withdrawing from the south of that country, after Lebanon and Israel agreed to a ceasefire contingent on Hezbollah halting attacks. Hezbollah's chief rejected the ceasefire, saying the Israel attacks need to stop.
