Thomas Lohmann, a 68-year-old Smithtown Councilman serving his second term in office, entered his plea Tuesday after allegedly delivering a haymaker to his political rival during an April town hall.
Since President Trump returned to office last year, his administration has repeatedly revoked or sought to deny the extension of temporary protections for immigrants from numerous countries.
